Vantander on the 1.0 books

Big Ambitions loans

1.0 removes negative interest. Vantander Bank tightens loan qualification, raises the maximum, and allows partial loan payments. Investments gain auto-invest and partial withdrawals. Taxes show in the EconoView panel; late tax is 10%, and partial tax payments are allowed. Older Early Access advice that assumed negative interest does not apply to this edition. The first Garment District shop still needs cash for rent, $225 carpet or $20–$50 tiles, stock and the first hire before any of those instruments matter.

Vantander Bank, tax and EconoView

Steam news for the full release is the source for this page. Negative interest is removed. Loan qualification is stricter while the Vantander maximum is larger. Partial payments exist for loans and for tax. That is the 1.0 contract: harder to qualify, more headroom, ability to chip away instead of all-or-nothing.

The bank is named Vantander in official notes. There is no first-party APR table in the capture. Do not copy community spreadsheets as official rates. Take a loan when the first shop’s rent, stock and hire will not wait; repay on the same 1.0 terms, not on EA-era negative-interest stories.

Vantander is a locked in-game name. Do not translate it in later locales; the term map keeps it. The same lock applies to EconoView. This English page already uses both names as they appear in 1.0 notes.

1.0 shows taxes in EconoView. Late tax is 10%. Partial tax payments are allowed, which is the same idea as partial loans: you can pay something instead of missing the whole bill. File on time; the fee is the named penalty.

EconoView is a BizPhone app, not a desktop website. It sits with MarketInsider and BizMan on the official tray. This page does not rebuild that UI. The captured fact is the panel plus the 10% fee.

Auto-invest and the first shop’s cash

1.0 adds investment auto-invest and partial withdrawals. That is the extent of the first-party investment copy in the sealed notes. There is no per-instrument yield table here. Treat auto-invest as a 1.0 quality-of-life switch after the shop is cash-positive, not as a starter tactic.

Studio Insights sales figures (600,000 copies, 1.1 million with Startup Company) are ecosystem facts, not in-game investment returns. Do not confuse them.

Before Vantander matters, the lease needs money for rent, the $225 carpet chip (or cheaper $20–$50 tiles on the same overlay), stock and a hire. Uncle Fred’s job is the opening cash tap. Speedy Bites deliveries are extra cash after 1.0. None of those are loans.

Headquarters payroll is why the 1.0 loan bar tightened. Pricing Managers and Purchasing Agents are salaries. Use the larger maximum once HQ exists; do not leverage the first gift shop as if negative interest were still printing money.

The Early Access trailer bound on this page is historical marketing. The banking rules you play under in 1.0 are the August 2026 notes, not the 2023 trailer voiceover. Keep that split when you reread older Steam comments.

Why Early Access banking advice expires

Negative interest existed in Early Access discussion because the live rules allowed it. 1.0 removes it. Any guide that tells you to park debt for free money is describing a historical build. This page is current-tense for 28 August 2026.

Stricter qualification plus a larger maximum is the replacement: you borrow less often, then borrow bigger when HQ payroll actually needs it. Partial payments stop a missed week from becoming a default cliff. The 10% late tax is the named stick in EconoView.

Investments with auto-invest and partial withdrawals are the idle cash tool after the shop is stable. They are not a substitute for stock on 37 1st Street. Suit Castles - Gold is the official achievement icon bound to this route; it is decoration for the banking page, not a payout table.

The Early Access trailer (flDB9YNNm4c) stays on this page because the media contract assigns it here. Watch it as history. Play the 1.0 rules written in the Steam full-release notes.

Where these numbers come from

Late tax 10%, removal of negative interest, partial loan and tax payments, auto-invest, partial withdrawals, stricter loans and a larger Vantander maximum are all from the 1.0 Steam news post. The official site teasers repeat Hamptons, driver, Speedy Bites, Pricing Manager, banking and minigames as the 1.0 bundle.

US list $25.99 / $20.79 intro is store capture, not a loan figure. Very Positive 12751/13792 is the review summary at capture. Neither number belongs in a Vantander calculator, and this wiki does not ship one: there is no sealed formula.

If a YouTuber still talks negative interest after 1.0, they are on an old build or an experimental branch. The experimental branch is first-party and not a second SKU; it does not change the current 1.0 banking copy on this page.

EconoView, Vantander and MarketInsider are three different surfaces: tax panel, bank, demand index. Mixing them into one fake HUD is how a wiki starts looking like every other tycoon template. Keep the names locked.

Partial withdrawals on investments are how you pull cash back for a second shop without closing the whole position. Auto-invest is the idle toggle. Neither one is documented with a first-party yield, so this page stops at the named buttons.
