Seven districts on MarketInsider

Big Ambitions neighborhoods

MarketInsider on the official Steam screenshot names Garment District, Hell’s Kitchen, Industry City, Lower Manhattan, Midtown, Murray Hill and The Hamptons. Garment District is the starter lease turf and Ingrid Schneider’s special-rival ground. Hell’s Kitchen is Jessica Johnson plus townhouses; Midtown is Huang Guo plus penthouses; Murray Hill is Thierry Laurent Moreau. Lower Manhattan arrived in EA 0.5 with 100+ buildings, Hudson Wholesale and Essentials Appliances. Industry City in 0.9 holds P1–P3 and Q1–Q3 factory/warehouse lots. 1.0 adds The Hamptons: residential mansions, gated docks, luxury retail, golf and tennis.

Compare two districts

Use Compare on any pair. Shared fields are name, specialRival and officialNote. Garment District versus The Hamptons is the 1.0 ambition span: first shop at 37 1st Street against Uncle Fred’s Hamptons home and 1.0 docks. The panel holds exactly the pressed cards; press again to drop one.

Lower Manhattan and Industry City have empty specialRival fields in the first-party table: they arrived as map expansions, not as special-rival turf. Huang Guo’s Midtown later becomes the named host of the announced Shanghai DLC, which is not shipped in 1.0.

Murray Hill

Special rival: Thierry Laurent Moreau

Named as Thierry Laurent Moreau’s rival turf in EA 0.5.

Lower Manhattan

No named special rival in first-party notes.

Added in EA 0.5 with 100+ buildings, new warehouses, Hudson Wholesale and Essentials Appliances.

Industry City

No named special rival in first-party notes.

Added in EA 0.9 as the factory/warehouse neighbourhood with P1–P3 and Q1–Q3 lots.

The Hamptons

No named special rival in first-party notes.

1.0 seventh neighbourhood: residential mansions, gated docks, luxury retail strip, golf and tennis.

What 1.0 actually added

The Hamptons is the seventh neighbourhood: mostly residential with a luxury retail strip and buyable mansions, including gated docks. Homeowners get Halcyon Fairway and A Racket of Love. Uncle Fred’s house and golf nemesis Richard sit here. Speedy Bites still delivers; the district is not a second city.

Industry City remains the factory/warehouse neighbourhood from EA 0.9, with Titans of Industry Supply and Stonegood Architecture. Do not treat announced boats in Let the Good Tides Roll as already present on these docks.

The seven MarketInsider rows

Garment District: starter, 37 1st Street / 44 5th Avenue, Ingrid Schneider. Hell’s Kitchen: Jessica Johnson, townhouses. Midtown: Huang Guo, penthouses, later Shanghai DLC host. Murray Hill: Thierry Laurent Moreau. Lower Manhattan: EA 0.5, 100+ buildings, Hudson Wholesale, Essentials Appliances, no special rival. Industry City: EA 0.9 factories and P/Q lots, no special rival. The Hamptons: 1.0 seventh district, mansions, gated docks, luxury strip, golf and tennis.

MarketInsider also shows class mix, real-estate prices, events and product demand/import index for all seven. That overlay is the official screenshot on this page, captioned as MarketInsider, not rebuilt as fake phone chrome.

Compare is limited to two cards so the panel stays readable at 390px. Shared fields only. Do not expect per-building databases; those are competitor SKU dumps this site dropped for lack of a first-party API.
