Desks after the first shop
Big Ambitions headquarters
A larger business needs HQ staff with desks and computers. Steam about-text names HR Managers, Logistics Managers and Purchasing Agents. 1.0 adds a Pricing Manager who can reprice every item in a neighbourhood and, at higher skill, suggest daily prices. Speedy Bites delivers to home or business; players can also run those deliveries. Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs hires a Private Driver after a vehicle is dropped in their garage. Travel Agents want Desk Globes; Event Planners want Desk Calendars (EA 0.11).
Staff named in first-party notes
The table below is the confirmed set: Customer Service and Delivery Driver from the Voogle Maps job filter; Speedy Bites food delivery from 1.0 notes; HR Manager, Logistics Manager and Purchasing Agent from Steam about-text; Pricing Manager from 1.0; Private Driver from Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs; Travel Agent and Event Planner from EA 0.11. Each HQ role needs a desk and a computer in that copy.
Purchasing Agents tie into harbour imports. Logistics Managers sit with warehouse networks. HR Managers are how hiring scales past the first till. The Pricing Manager is the 1.0 reason to staff a neighbourhood instead of walking every shelf. Cleaning skill caps and recruiter shop names stay community-derived and out of this list.
EA 0.11 adds Travel Agencies and Event Planning Agencies and boosts law firms, web development agencies and graphic designers. Travel Agents want Desk Globes; Event Planners want Desk Calendars. Those props are named in the patch notes; they are not a furniture SKU dump.
Office types still rent through Voogle Maps’ office filter. They are not the first Garment District gift shop. Put them on the same city grid once HQ payroll can carry the extra desks.

Pricing Manager, Speedy Bites and Onyx
1.0 adds an HQ Pricing Manager who can update prices for every item in a neighbourhood and, at higher skill, suggest daily prices. That is a desk job, not a MarketInsider recreation. MarketInsider still shows demand and import index; the manager writes the tags.
Do not mix leftover Early Access advice that assumed negative interest into how you fund these desks. Vantander’s 1.0 loans are stricter with a larger maximum; HQ payroll is one of the reasons that bar exists.
Speedy Bites is a 1.0 food delivery layer to home or business. The player can also run deliveries for cash, which is a named job rather than a hidden side activity. Hunger and happiness still drain energy faster in 1.0 when they sit low, so delivery is a needs tool as well as income.
Private Driver is hired through Onyx Luxury Chauffeurs after a vehicle is dropped in their garage. That is a 1.0 convenience for moving between Garment District and The Hamptons, not a replacement for warehouses. The official warehouse still of desks beside pallet racks is the visual for this page: office work attached to stock, not a generic dashboard.
When a headquarters is actually due
The first shop on 37 1st Street can run with one hire off the till. Headquarters is the next lease once several shops, a warehouse, or office agencies need shared staff. Steam’s about-text presents HQ as the place you hire managers so you stop standing at every counter. That is the player task for this page: staff a headquarters, not decorate a lobby.
Put HR in before you spam job ads. Put Logistics in before Industry City P lots start idling. Put Purchasing in before harbour crates pile up. Put Pricing in when MarketInsider shows a neighbourhood you can no longer walk daily. Private Driver is optional convenience after a car sits in the Onyx garage. Speedy Bites is available without HQ, which is why it also appears on the getting-started board as cash work.
EA 0.11 office agents (Travel Agent, Event Planner) belong to their agency types, not to the HQ manager trio. They still want named props. Graphic design agencies are boosted in the same patch without a new named HQ title. Keep the table on this page as the confirmed roster rather than a fan-made skill-cap chart.
Desks, computers and the warehouse office still
Steam about-text is explicit that HQ staff need desks and computers. The official screenshot bound here is a warehouse office: wooden desks, filing cabinets, a sofa waiting area and pallet racks of cardboard boxes. That is the visual contract for this route — office work attached to stock — not a rebuilt phone chrome.
You do not get a first-party layout grid of how many computers a Pricing Manager needs at each skill step. The 1.0 notes only say the role can reprice a neighbourhood and later suggest daily prices. Furnish the room, seat the role, then use MarketInsider as the demand readout.
Rivals remain visible from HQ through the Rivals app: special-rival attacks on price, market and employees, plus a top-20 board from EA 0.5. Poaching and buy-outs are named as player tasks in the research plan; exact buy-out formulas are not in the captured first-party notes, so they stay in-game.
If a shop still needs you at the register, HQ is early. Seat one hire on the floor first, then open the office still on this page as the model for the next lease.
