After the till · warehouses and factories
Big Ambitions warehouse
Warehouses are the distribution layer. EA 0.9 places P1–P3 and Q1–Q3 lots in Industry City with Titans of Industry Supply and Stonegood Architecture. An official warehouse still labels NY Distro Inc in Garment District with pallets, a flatbed list and Open in BizMan. Factories arrive in EA 0.6 to produce goods that used to come only from wholesale importers; 0.10 is a full factory revamp. The 0.6 pier names Lunar Tide Shipments, Maritime Freight Line and Aquatic Bay Cargo. Purchasing Agents at HQ tie into those imports. This is the same city as the 37 1st Street lease, one layer out.
Stand up a warehouse and harbour imports
Voogle Maps filters warehouse lots the same way it filters retail. Industry City is the neighbourhood built for P and Q sizes; Garment District still shows NY Distro Inc as a named warehouse in an official screenshot. Open in BizMan is the management hook, not a separate app you download.
A warehouse network is how shops stop living on single-store deliveries. Logistics Managers at HQ sit on that layer. There is no first-party box-size dump on this page; recipe tables stay in-game and on community wikis.
Official homepage copy sends stock from the harbour through warehouses into shops. Purchasing Agents are the HQ role tied to imports. Steam about-text repeats that chain. Numeric freight rates are not in first-party notes captured here.
Lower Manhattan’s EA 0.5 notes add Hudson Wholesale and Essentials Appliances alongside new warehouses. Those names are importers on the map, not extra wiki routes. Keep them as harbour colour on the same 1.0 city.
Turn on a factory in Industry City
EA 0.6 Assemble The Line introduces factories that produce goods previously bought from wholesale importers, plus a pier with Lunar Tide Shipments, Maritime Freight Line and Aquatic Bay Cargo. 0.9 parks the lots in Industry City. 0.10 rebuilds the factory line during the show-business update.
Jewelry is named as a factory output in 0.6 copy without a jewelry storefront on the official homepage list. Do not treat community jewelry shops as confirmed types. The factory floor still on this page is looping conveyors and hazard arrows, not a card grid of recipes.
EA 0.9 The Struggle adds Industry City with P1–P3 and Q1–Q3 warehouse/factory lots plus Titans of Industry Supply and Stonegood Architecture. MarketInsider lists the district among the seven. It has no special rival in the confirmed table.
Build here when shops already sell; it is not the 37 1st Street first lease. Announced Shanghai DLC versus Huang Guo is a later city, not a rename of Industry City.
How the loop feeds the first shop
Official homepage copy is a single chain: take a loan, rent, design a logo, renovate, stock, hire, then import from the harbour through warehouses. This page is the last half of that sentence. The first half lives on the beginner guide. Do not skip Garment District because Industry City lots look larger on MarketInsider.
NY Distro Inc is the named Garment District warehouse in the official still. It has a flatbed shopping list and an Open in BizMan control. That is enough to stand up a warehouse without a SKU spreadsheet. Factories then cut some wholesale buys, which is why 0.6 exists.
0.10’s factory revamp ships in the same breath as cinemas and theaters. Show-business does not replace pallets. Keep cinema stock on the same warehouse network unless a later patch says otherwise — no such split is in the captured notes.
There is no first-party recipe table, box-size dump or opening-hours calculator in the sealed records. Community wikis publish those; they stay observed. Jewelry as a factory output is first-party in 0.6 copy; a jewelry storefront is not on the official homepage list.
Announced Let the Good Tides Roll adds sailboats, a ferry, yacht interiors and a Statue of Liberty sail. That is a free update after 1.0, not a harbour already running in the 28 August 2026 build. Do not write current-tense ferry schedules.
Purchasing Agents, Logistics Managers and warehouse filters are the confirmed handles. Use them. If a number is missing from Steam news or the official site, it is missing on purpose here.
Open in BizMan
The Garment District warehouse still is explicit: NY Distro Inc, labelled pallets, a flatbed list, Open in BizMan. That control is the management app, the same BizMan named on the phone tray. You do not need a separate workshop mod to run a warehouse in 1.0.
Factories use the same city and the same purchasing agents. 0.6 is the production on-switch; 0.10 is the rebuild. Conveyor stills are illustration, not a blueprint you copy tile-for-tile.
When shops, warehouse and factory exist, the loop the official site described at launch is complete. Everything after that — Hamptons docks, Broadway, Workshop — stacks on this chain instead of replacing it.
P1–P3 and Q1–Q3 are the lot sizes named for Industry City. Titans of Industry Supply and Stonegood Architecture are the named vendors in the 0.9 notes. Hudson Wholesale and Essentials Appliances sit on the Lower Manhattan side of the same import story from 0.5.
If a shop sells faster than a single storeroom can refill, stand up the warehouse before the factory. Factories need somewhere to put output. That order is the official loop, not a community min-max.
